After leaving corporate America to retire on the north coast I was able to follow my dream to paint. My formal education consisted of a degree in business and extensive background in sales, marketing, project management, and human resources. Other than art appreciation little time was devoted to fine art. Once here I studied under several local artists, and profited from valuable feedback and encouragement. Inspired by living on the coast, I mostly paint seascapes and landscapes using oil as my medium. What stared out as a hobby has become a profitable endeavor. I often wear a gift of an apron which reads, “ A bad day in the studio is better than a good day at the office.” HOW TRUE
